- About Me:
- I'm from New York City, where I studied singing and became an environmental educator. I'm a 'peacenik' who is still learning to be peaceful within. I identify strongly with the peace and civil rights movements of the Sixties and I've always been drawn to the music of that period. I'm a big Monty Python fan, having been exposed to it at an impressionable age. I enjoy the Orcas community and this beautiful place we live in. I deeply appreciate being able to create here on Orcas and to come back to Orcas after having been on the road.

- What are your interests?
- I'm a singer and that's what I love to do the most, everything from folk music to jazz to musical comedy to opera. I also play violin/fiddle, guitar and piano. I love doing music with my partner Mike Hurwicz, hiking and writing music and traveling to do concerts. About 15 years ago I joined an environmental group and became very interested in helping the planet and people, as we're all affected by the health of the planet. I enjoy doing environmental education with music, which I've been doing for about 15 years, and have enjoyed doing that with Mike since we met in 1998. We started the tax-exempt nonprofit Irthlingz Arts-Based Environmental Education in 2002 and we enjoy doing presentations through Irthlingz and also working with kids on environmental music projects.
