- I'm moving to Orcas soon. I have lived in the Bay area for 4 years, and prior to that I lived in Humboldt County, Calif. for 13 years. I've done nonprofit activism for protection of wild nature and for community for 20 years. I have an oil-industry background, and have used it to fight petroleum industry expansion with the Alliance for a Paving Moratorium, and the Auto-Free Times magazine. Now I'm known for Culture Change. I've found that fIghting the plastic plague (e.g., plastic bag bans) is almost as much fun as performing an eco-tune

Work trade for housing for peak-oil savvy activist and gardener
Writer and songwriter who developed pedal power produce would like to move to Orcas and find a home. Community living is great, and am also willing to care-take, be an elder-care giver, and/or garden/farm. I would like to see Orcas have an eco-music festival, and also a Sail Transport Network.
